How to get in the line of sight for the next promotion? What marketing strategy should I market myself?

I am currently in management, but looking to get a role with direct reports of the experience. I have no mentor and I really feel like I need one. I do not know what to do or not must do to be considered. I know I'm doing a good job because I receive positive feedback. I do not know if it's good enough to stand out.

It depends on your organization. Make your human resources manager and aware of their career plans. That's a start. May I speak with human resources manager, or the bit mamnger you want to work in and just ask – I have to do to get a position in the next 12-24 months type thing. We talk to an organization and find simialr Hence the internal promotion policy, etc. You say about the experience – maybe you can get some of those who live without being a manager, consider that. Perhaps you have the skills, but working out. The higher you go, the more it comes to personal networking, so develop their contacts and use them. Remember you can have the favor "called" a day. If you really determined and I can not really get any help or guidance in getting a single person outside (career counselor / life coach etc.) and have help. Good Luck
